sleeping socks 수면양말. I cannot sleep until my feet are warm so thick sleeping socks are a must.

Hand warmers are super popular in winter.

Layer legs with fleece lined tights before putting pants on. Maintaining a thick layer and no direct contact to the cold air is key to surviving freezing temperatures.

Down feather jacket. These are the warmest and the best investment you can make for winter. I bought mine at TopTen for 100 000 won/ 85 USD.

Facial masks. Many Korean’s that I know put these masks on every night before bed. An excellent habit for keeping the skin soft and hydrated in unforgiving cold dry air.

scarf/ ear muffs

Biting cold will force you to cover your ears.

Super warm gloves to keep the fingers from freezing over.

Moisturise your skin and hair
Korean winters are dry so you need to find products that help your hair and skin to stay moist. Ask your new Korean friends what products they use.
Boots
There are many kinds of boots to buy. If it gets really cold, investing in fur lined boots is a good idea.
